I know it’s early…

I can’t help myself. What with the ultimate Bargain Hunter as our boss, and a rich russian in charge, it’s hardly a wonder that I’m licking my lips at new transfer rumours. I felt our summer transfers were brilliant especially Sylvain Distin, who may I say could walk into many teams who are supposed to finish higher than us (Tottenham to name one). The players/rumours that have caught my eye are sizzling. I heard that Espanyol’s Cameroonian ‘Keeper Carlos Kameni is being linked with us. Not that we need a keeper at the moment, but Big Dave aint getting any younger and this keeper is early/mid twenties and he is brilliant! Another one is Leroy Lita. Although we’ve got an abundance of striking talent I really rate the England U-21 striker. In terms of players out, there’s the obvious one of Dave Nugent, who apparently hasn’t settled (Bullsh*t), but one surprising one is to hear Pedro Mendes being linked away. There’s only one thing I can say. Why? Since we’ve brung him in he’s been brilliant. He’s always comitted, he rarely complains and he comes up with the odd great goal. So please Pedro… don’t go!!!
