Derby STILL Want Nugent

Derby County are still interested in Pompey striker Dave Nugent. The Rams wanted Nugent in the summer, before and after he signed for Portsmouth in a £6million deal.

Unfortunately things haven’t worked out brilliantly for Nugent since arriving at Fratton Park. Just one goal to his name in Pomey colours, and few appearances made, it is looking very likely that he could be on his way out, especially with the brilliant form of Benjani, and the imminent return of Kanu.

Derby sit last in the Premier League and would still be keen to take on Nugent, in an attempt to survive from relegation. It’s rumoured that the deal could be up to £7million.

Good old Harry, at least he’d of made a profit!
