Jamo in PFA Team of The Season

David James was the only Pompey player to feature in this years PFA Team of the season.

I honestly can’t think of a more reliable goalkeeper in the Premier league (especially this season), so I suppose that’s why he’s in!

I think Glen Johnson may have had a case at Right Back as I think he’s been our second most consistent performer this season, he MUST be in Capello’s plans for England games in the near future. The right back spot was actually filled by Arsenals Bakary Sagna and I must admit I have been very impressed with him this year.

GK-David James-Pompey- It had to be him!

RB-Bakary Sagna-Arsenal- If it weren’t Glen then I’m glad it’s him.
CB-R.Ferdinand-United- He’s been brilliant alongside Vidic
CB-Nemanja Vidic-United- “____________________” Rio
LB-Gael Clichy-Arsenal-Definately! He’s one of my favourite players!

RM-C.Ronaldo-United-It was never gonna go to anyone else.
CM-Steve Gerrard-Liverpool-He’s been Liverpool’s star man… AGAIN.
CM-Cesc Fabregas-Arsenal-Hey he even got his on T.V show for Pete’s sake!
LM-Ashley Young-Aston Villa-He has been great for Villa but perhaps Alex Hleb or Niko Kranjcar?

ST-Adebayor-Arsenal-Sometimes the big fella is unplayable. Does seem to go through patches though. But he had to be in there.
ST-Fernando Torres-Liverpool-An amazing debut season!
