Arsenal Want Kranjcar.
By: b-man | April 21st, 2008
The little Croation has been in great form all season for both Pompey and Croatia (anyone recall a certain night at Wembley?)
Because of this fine form he has attracted quite a bit of attention, this time from The Emirates.
Niko is held in very high regard by Arsene Wenger and if Alex Hleb decides to leave then He’ll almost certainly make a move for Kranjcar.
You can see why. He fits their criteria perfectly: Creative. Intelligent. Great technique. Relatively young.
I don’t want him to go. Sure I’m stating the blatantly obvious but there will be a lot of Pompey fans looking at the money coming in and licking their lips.
But I think we’re past the stage where we need to really consider money. We need to be looking to build a squad that can consistently get Uefa Cup and perhaps even look to close the gap on the big 4.
However if he were to leave I’d want/expect at least £12million

I agree, we do need him more than money. Our defense is great - top 3 in the Premier league - but we just can’t put points on the board! If we let Kranjcar go it’ll be even worse. Oh man I want Benjani back

Exactly. We’re as solid as any other team in the league, I just feel we lack that creative spark. Letting Niko go would result in 0% creativity.
I really wanted Luka Modric from Zagreb but it seems he’s going to Tottenham.

u mus b stupid to fink dat ur defense is good. I admits dat u hav gd defenders but as a whole u ent that gd. The top 4 hav better defences and so do blackburn and aston villa and everton so it is wrong to say dat u hav a top 3 defence coz it ent tru

We can’t afford to let Kranjcar go, however when the big clubs come in for players it is very difficult to keep them.
