POMPEY BOOK PLACE IN FA CUP FINAL!!! Pompey 1-0 WBA

Yesterday Pompey booked their place in the FA Cup final.

I’ve only just come to terms with that!

Every single player in that Portsmouth squad deserves it. Whenever they’ve been called upon they’ve worked as hard as they could.

Yesterday was our day. West Brom dominated in terms of possession but just couldn’t break past Sol ‘n’ Sylv, who were outstanding AGAIN!

We were making the clear cut chances, most of which were falling to Baros who evidently is a good worker but a shade of his past ‘glory’!

KANUUUUUUUUUUU grabbed the only goal of the game with a real poachers effort in front of goal after a slight mix-up on the line between Kiely and Gera resulted in the ball falling right in front of Kanu’s size 14 boot.

We’ve been to Old Trafford; we’ve battled against the Tractor Boys; We’ve seen off the best the Championship has to offer and now we’re at the final hurdle.

Whether it’s Barnsley or Cardiff; this is our year!

  We Played you off the park. And the only way you could score was by Baros cheating and using his arm to control the ball.

  How could the ref not see it? It was so blatant. You can’t beat us fairly so you have to cheat.

  I just hope you get a taste of your own medicine in the final.

  ‘Howard Webb is a Prick’— The amount of silly decisions that have gone against us in the past more than out weighs this bad call (remember Pires getting a 9.9 for his dive?!?).

  And to be honest that’s just football. Sometimes they go your way and other times they don’t. Blaming the ref for your player’s/team’s lack of creative spark won’t get you into the final. Just accept that you didn’t do enough to win!

  If Baros had put all his chances away then it would have been a rout!

  After seeing Cardiff beat Barnsley despite being dominated, I have to say I’m confident (not complacent though!).

  They posed little as an attacking threat and if they attack like that against us on the 17th then we’ll be laughing.

  In terms of defence they looked relatively sturdy however when you consider that Barnsley simply hoofed it up to the big man, any defence would look pretty sturdy.

  COME ON POMPEY!!!!
