Fulham 0-2 Pompey

By: b-man | October 8th, 2007

Pompey got another three points on the board yesterday. Yes!

The game was end-to-end in the first half however it wasn’t particularly great football. The game died down a bit in the second half, however Pompey did come out looking brighter (I imagine there were some motivational words said by Harry at Half-time). It took just four minutes after the re-start for Portsmouth to get a goal. Benjani got his sixth goal of the season with a good finish, although I have to admit it did take a bit of a deflection off Bocanegra.

Less than three minutes later and Pompey had a second, this time through Herraiderson (sorry if I spelt it wrong!). A through ball from the ever lively Niko Krancjar and a good finish saw him get his second goal in two games. This sealed the victory for Pompey and it was a very professional performance from then on, and although it wasn’t a 7-4 thriller, it was 3 points nonetheless.

Portsmouth:

James. Johnson, Campbell, Distin, Herraiderson. Utaka, Muntari, Davis, Diop, Krancjar. Benjani.

Goals:

Benji’ 49
Herraiderson 52

Play Up Pompey!

I’m not sure you know. I think we might sustain this form. We’ve got a strong squad and they’ve already played the big four once, unless I’m mistaken. I think this Southampton fan might be a bit bitter!

I wasn’t too far off on the ‘Predict-a-score’ haha! You’ll see, I’ll be the true legend of ‘predict-a-score’!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait and see.

The height of irony: “sorry if I spelt it wrong!” Seeing as you’re a blogger, you clearly have the internet at your disposal. Why not try and use that to confirm how a player’s name from your favorite club is spelLED?

You pathetic little boy. I know for a fact you have no friends. Any way you shouldn’t be wasting your time correcting me, you need to get back to your online game of Dungeons and Dragons.

And seeing as we are on the note of corrections… your comment should read “…favourite club is SPELT”.

    Sad Act.

sorry to burst your bubble, b-man, but ’spelt’ is a form of wheat (see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelt), not the past tense of spell. captain irony is right about saying ’spelled.’ your comment trying to insult him/her actually further reinforced his/her point about the irony of your spelling mistake.
