A simple mistake in midfield cost Pompey the winning goal from Berbatov. While Johnson would usuallly take the throw ins from the position that the throw was in, he left it for ateam mante and went forward. This meant that when Pompey lost the ball they were left short at the back.

Pompey will travel to Ipswich in the third round of the FA Cup this year.
To be honest I’m pretty pleased with this draw. Although Ipswich do look quite useful at home, I believe we have a good enough squad to be able to rotate players for this game and still advance to the next round. [...]
